Luken Communications, LLC and Rev’n, LLC have welcomed The Amazing World of Automobiles and Classic Cars as the latest additions to the Rev’n programming lineup. Both series are produced by Switch International. The Amazing World of Automobiles can currently be found on Rev’n every Monday at 6:00 p.m. ET and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. ET. Classic Cars airs on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. ET, Thursdays a 6:00 p.m. ET and Sundays at 4:30 p.m. ET.
The Amazing World of Automobiles presents an in-depth look at the invention, innovation and inspiration behind one of the world’s most incredible and varied modes of transportation, the automobile. It charts the evolution of cars from the first Model T Ford to the most recent innovations in design, including cars that reduce our carbon footprint, and leads us to ask the question: is mankind servant to the machine or are the machines servants to mankind?
Series distributor Chip Taylor of Chip Taylor Communications, LLC said, “This series looks at automobiles from their earliest days to modern times, and along the way we discover stories about individuals like Henry Ford, Ransom Olds, Niklaus Otto and Karl Benz, to mention a few, as well as the best in cars from America and Europe, and exciting sports car and racing circuit stories."
Classic Cars features many of the most revered classic cars of yesteryear, providing in depth information on individual makes and models and how each car came to be.
Of Classic Cars and its addition to Rev’n, Taylor said, “Car guys and gals will love this series which features many of the classiest classic cars ever made. Some of the lineup includes: a Chrysler Royal, a Jaguar XK150S Sports Classic, a Lamborghini Miura, a Lotus Europa, the Lancia Flaminia GTL, a Morris Mini Cooper, a DMC Delorian, a Chevy Camaro convertible, an Alfa Romeo Roadster, a Porsche 918 Spider and a Citroen 2 CV."
Terri Coyle, Luken’s Director of Programming, said, “These two shows complement the Rev’n schedule perfectly. Their addition to our lineup is another step toward making Rev’n a one-stop shop for gearheads of every kind.”
