WKXT-LD Knoxville Loads Up With Diginets

The Heartland Network, Retro TV, The Family Channel, Rev’n and The Action Channel from Get After It Media are now available over-the-air on the Digital Networks-owned LPTV station.

Popular digital broadcast networks Retro TV, The Heartland Network, Rev’n, The Action Channel and The Family Channel are now available in Knoxville, Tenn., via WKXT-LD, owned and operated by Digital Networks. Depending on their location, viewers in the Knoxville area will need to rescan their televisions after which they can tune into the networks on the following channels.

Joel Wertman, president of Digital Networks, said: “We are very excited to add Knoxville to our growing list of markets serviced by our owned and operated stations across the country. We know Knoxville is a great place with an audience who will enjoy the variety of programming we offer.”

Retro TV, one of the first digital broadcast networks in the United States, showcases the best in classic television. Programming includes great hits like Doctor Who, Naked City, The Beverly Hillbillies, One Step Beyond, The Ray Bradbury Theater, and many more. Retro TV is also the exclusive home to iconic soap opera The Doctors and the original program Dracula’s Kung Fu Theatre.

The Heartland Network brings its audience the broadest spectrum of true country music. Heartland combines the very best in classic country, straight from the vaults on Music Row, with the relevant and compelling country music of today’s generation. Shows include Music City Tonight, CountyLine TV, Bluegrass Ridge, Country Fix, in addition to classic movies and original shows More Than the Music and The Unseen World.

Geared towards performance enthusiasts, Rev’n, is dedicated to all things revving including cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, events, and auctions. Shows include My Classic Car, Sam’s Garage, Curator’s Vault, Operation Repo, and Flying Through Time, just to name a few.

For the daredevils, there’s The Action Channel, delivering high-octane thrills, heart-pounding excitement, and the sheer will to break a few rules. Viewers can check out popular programs like Boundless, Strongman Champions, Da Vinci’s Inquest and OVW Wrestling.

Families can Watch Together with The Family Channel, curated with cooking, DIY, family-friendly movies, travel and educational programming including Positively Paula with Paula Deen, Chasing Down Madison Brown, Zoo Diaries, The Houndcats, Ready, Set, Renovate and more.
